I love the texture and the colouring of the dogs, gorgeous work!

It’s been a long time since I posted here. But I’ve been drawing a lot of stuff during this time.

Gesture drawing as usual:

A figure I made completely from imagination to internalize some things:

These past months I’ve been on a journey of doing a lot of traditional work with different materials, and painting with colored pencils has been really fun to learn:

Pastels have also been interesting to use, both the stick ones and the pencil ones:

But I haven’t stopped drawing with colored pencils, which are my favorite material to use. Prismacolor Premier has been my main choice for working on newsprint paper:

Last but not least pen drawings, hard to do but really satisfying. Learning ink with pen has been quite a challenge

Well, that’s it. I hope this forum is still pretty active, nowadays it’s hard to find something like this online, and this one has managed to stick around until now.

Welcome back.

I read you lost your mom last November and I offer my condolences. I lost both my parents several years ago and can understand a little I think.

Your figure studies both animal and human are spot on...I really like your line work and style.

Keep up the great work and keep posting when you have time.
