RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-10-2012 Experimenting with foliage, Painter brush settings and how the colors affect each other. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-10-2012 a speedpainting where I experiment a bit more with foliage. Next time I think I'll use a skattered brush for the trees in the distant background.. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - Wolkenfels - 07-10-2012 useful stuff! RE: Mirres Sketchbook - Jonesoda - 07-10-2012 Really dig your environments, deffinately one of your strong suites. I gotta try out a forest painting or something sometime haha. Will keep an eye on your sketchbook for more. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-12-2012 Thank you guys for the comments! :) here's some more studies. Some car study. I don't know anything about cars really, I usually find them quite boring subject. So I'll have to force myself to draw them more. Skin tone study. I really like to paint very dark, african faces, because they are actually just as colorful as caucasian skin. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-13-2012 Was busy working on other stuff today, but I managed to do at least one more car study before crashing to bed: Next time I should pay more attention to the wheels.. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-14-2012 Did some environment/value exercises! Spent about 20-25 minutes on each one. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - Wolkenfels - 07-14-2012 i like the middle enviro the most! :D RE: Mirres Sketchbook - alexnegrea - 07-15-2012 interesting leaf experiments. reminds me of some textures that i had to do at work:D you would have done so much better than me:D RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-17-2012 Thank you guys! :D here's some studies I did today on motor bikes! RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-18-2012 After the motorcycle study I felt like starting on a painting with a motorcycle in it. So I made some preparations. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-19-2012 Some more WIPs from today's livestream: I know the perspective is off, I need to rest my eyes from the painting a bit before finishing it. Also I don't really know how I want the color scheme. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-22-2012 Some doodle and paintings I did in today's crazy livestream session. Feels nice to just sit down and paint whatever you feel like. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 07-26-2012 Haven't been postin' stuff here lately. So I'll fill this post with lots of stuff I've done recently: Experimenting with the whole concept behind "values + overlay coloring" that I've never really completely understood until lately. Some exercises of the flexibility of the torso (aka "butt's n boobs poses") and also did a little repetition of the main muscles of the torso and arms. And here's some masterpainting studies. Next time I think I'll spend a bit more than 1 hour on each piece. The original paintings are done by Albert Bierstadt. His paintings are very atmospheric and inspiring. Reference: Reference: I'll end this post with some more WIP screenshots: RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 08-01-2012 With a lot of inspiration from Nathan Fowkes RE: Mirres Sketchbook - DK - 08-01-2012 Oh man, looks like you know what you're doin. Keep up the great work, everything's coming together nicely. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - FOERVRAENGD - 08-03-2012 Started on this painting today. I really hope I can manage to finish this. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - Trobino - 08-03-2012 Excellent work! Your studies are great! keep it up. RE: Mirres Sketchbook - ramalooke - 08-03-2012 Bierstadt FTW! There's so many awesome masters. But once i discovered him I forgot about all the others. Is this bad? Great stuff. Mind if I subscribe your sketchbook and look on it in my control panel xd?
