I like that last environment, hope you don't mind I did a quick paint over with some suggestions. The main thing is your values were a bit off in the middle ground, with that black you were losing sense of depth. Hope you find this helpful :)

Colors and fog made it better, nice! But still the values on the almost black horizontal shape in the middle of the scene need to be lighter.

great pointers man, I'm going to leave it as it is on this update. I lightened the walls a bit, not very much, just a tad.

Started using sculptris, awesome program that's not too complicated. Going to try an combine the workflow with zbrush.

I also made a silly (and not so good haha) little animation. In Flash.
So yes, I've been trying new things lately!
