RE: James's Sketch Book - Fedodika - 11-04-2016

Hey James, thanks for coming by my Sketchbook!

I think a few people have mentioned it, but i had this phenomenon a lot when going through your portfolio. The thumbnails look really great, the structure is great This piece is really  really great!

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-skyC_H9hDEg/VjA4NKjCAnI/AAAAAAAAIT8/5EWz8KTa91U/s1600/%25E5%25AB%25A6%25E5%25A8%25A5%25E6%2598%25A8%25E6%2599%259A1.jpg

I just think you need to buckle down and try to make all your faces look as good as your designs and figures

Some of these heads just are skewed or unnatractive/wonky etc.

It really seems like you get it right in your finished digital pieces, even at very tough angles, but idk i guess just try to get it tight with pencil and from memory, because I think the faces in these really nice sketch pages (10% of the time) distract from the flow of quality. Also, goin back and really doin some crazy amounts of boxes and cylinders and spheres in perspective for some reason really helped my own work, and i think it will help yours or anyone for that matter's work.

Cheers
