QUESTION about the next Bloodsport - Conny Nordlund - 01-29-2012

Does it have to be realistic? If so, how realistic? Like, Dave Rapoza-realistic?

I'm asking because I as much as I can appreciate realistic art that's super polished, It's nothing I enjoy doing myself.

I guess my question is, how far away from Anime must we be? I understand that it has to be fairly realistic if it's for an live-action movie.

This is what my stuff usually looks like:

RE: QUESTION about the next Bloodsport - Piotr Jasielski - 01-29-2012

I think it just shouldn't have the anime-like body features exagerrations and should be closer to realism.

RE: QUESTION about the next Bloodsport - Ursula Dorada - 01-29-2012

Actually, if you watch the challenge video: http://www.livestream.com/danielsdangerroom/video?clipId=pla_78170dbc-b91c-44e4-91a6-dde4e660fc87 They state a couple times that it CANNOT be anime. Anything else should be good.

They are, however, inclined towards realism but it's not an obligation. The rule is that no anime.
