Lots of Odds and Ends - Camilleon - 09-01-2013

So, it's been a few months since I've checked in here! Life happened. Meh

In any case, here is my most recent work. Crits are always welcome!

"Aozora" - color pencil, 12" x 17.5"
With this one, I learned that it's really f***ing important to flip your work somehow to check the symmetry...whoops.

"La Femme-bête" - digital painting
Just a little painting I whipped up based on a sketch.

"Lionfish Shampoo" - digital painting
This was my entry to James Gurney's art nouveau contest. Sadly, I was not one of the finalists...

"Égérie verte" - oil on canvas, 24" x 36"
So, this time I tried to flip the perspective regularly--some artists use a mirror, but I find that taking a quick pic with my phone and flipping it with its app is more convenient and effective. I flipped it a ton when I first started the piece, but eventually got carried away and forgot to do so later on...I manged to fix it for the most part, but it isn't perfect.
