RE: Sketchbook - Tygerson - 05-07-2014 The story telling piece is amazing. Time well spent. The market itself is gorgeous. I like how the other people sort of melt into the background. Also, the difficulty of assassinating someone in such a public place--escape after can't be easy, but the fellow with the knife looks very determined. The guy in fancy robes is probably never easy to get to--as you imply with the presence of the guard. RE: Sketchbook - Ignatz - 05-26-2014 Over a month since my last post; where does the time go? matkaminski - Thanks for the suggestion. I tend to overthink things and I was worried that people wouldn't make the connection between the guard and the nobleman so I overdid it by almost fusing them together :p. AngeliquevdMee - Thanks for dropping by, glad you like it :) meat - Thanks for your comments. It's all digital. I wanted to create a traditional feel so I used a chalk brush and kept the rendering quite loose. Tygerson - Thanks for your comments, as always, much appreciated. Here's some photo studies, experimenting with trying to keep things loose and concentrating on colour rather than likeness. RE: Sketchbook - Olooriel - 05-27-2014 I'm speechless. You are *so* amazing with characters. RE: Sketchbook - Ignatz - 06-03-2014 Thanks Olooriel. Zombie/Vampire type thingy |
