Measuring in digital - Razzer - 10-21-2013 Hi guys! :) So recently I moved from traditional (back) to digital and I was just wondering - how do you measure angles and proportions in digital? (needed especially for studies) I mean IRL I would do it with my pencil or my brush but in digital I have this bulky, thick, irregular stylus which isn't much help. (I have a cintiq 12wx) In the end I went the medieval way and had a pencil in my left hand and my stylus in my right :P ... How do you guys do it? RE: Measuring in digital - crackedskull - 10-22-2013 Ive had a similar issue, if i really need pinpoint accuracy then ill use the ruler tool in PS, but I wont recomend it, better to eyeball it. The way I use is make a fast stroke motion as a measurement then do it again to get another unit. Hard to explain sorry. Another way Ive used is measuring with fingers :D |
