The last three our four times I've checked it, no one's been on. Just curious to see if the URL has changed, or if I'm just having odd luck when checking it.

It's still active, but I think two things generally happen. One is that it gets busy at random times and the second is that people click it, see no one is in, then don't join.. If 10 people do this in the space of an hour, it means there could have been 10 people in there :P
