Hello Daggers! - jwcmack - 02-25-2014

I'm a Concept artist and Illustrator that graduated from the Academy of Art University with a BFA in Visual Development just under a year ago. My focus is fantasy work, drawing inspiration from games and franchises like Dota2, Warhammer and....

anime

Shock

My reason for joining the Crimson Daggers was to find a dedicated study group with similar interests and treat it like a workshop. I want to practice, grow with others, and have fun.

Here is a link to my website and some of my works Tongue

Heyo Gregory. Welcome to Crimson Daggers! Your works are coming along, though you need to pay more attention to composition (visual flow) and anatomy (proportions and foreshortening). Also, you need to manage your focus, I can see that there are areas in your paintings where you spend almost no time, and you don't quite render these areas with the necessary understanding to leave them so undeveloped, whereas other areas are somewhat overworked, of course, this should be tackled after you get better compositional and anatomical understanding.

Once more, welcome!
