I tried following the advice I was given at another forum and tried to get the whole torso down in one line. RE: Chaoclypse's Sketchbook - Chaoclypse - 11-04-2014 Here are some half hour skull studies! RE: Chaoclypse's Sketchbook - CoreyH - 11-04-2014 Hey nice start man! Make sure you size those images down a bit before posting them :) With you gestures, try and aim just for the feeling of movement in the gesture first, don't worry about the volumes and contours of the body you are copying yet. Nail the 'story' of the gesture. Then you can start to build anatomy etc on top of that :) Keep posting man! RE: Chaoclypse's Sketchbook - Chaoclypse - 11-05-2014 Thanks for the input CoreyH! I will definitely try that the next time I do gestures. Here is an armor study I did today: RE: Chaoclypse's Sketchbook - Chaoclypse - 11-09-2014 Here are some more gesture studies, this time I tried some loomis. |
