Hi, I have a self-portrait I have been working on, and I wanted some critique.[Image: zM2eZ1E.jpg]

Hi, would be nice to have the photo or any ressource :)
still it's good to work on values.
The neck is too tight.
Good work overall

Without photo reference, I can't say for sure, but it seems like you handle your values good for the most part. The area by your mouth sticks out as either being too dark, or other areas need to go darker. (again, i cant say for sure). [Your] left eyebrow seems way short. That may be the actual value, but I would include more to it, because sometimes photos can lie ;)

As a whole, I would do research on lighting. (Key light, fill light, rim light, etc.) This may be a simple exercise in rendering, but you can push the boundaries by setting up a very interesting lighting scheme. It's a quick way to add some drama and emotion to your drawing.
