I had a little play with your image.
Its pretty cool but my initial thoughts were, what is this guy?
So to add to a narrative I gave him a bit more wood in this costume, bit of repetition of materials can make it all feel more of a complete character. It would be different if I knew what you were going for with him. i didn't change the legs that much, just tried to give him a bit more weight and brought the fur lower and took some focus off them. I saw there was a vial of blood? but I'm not sure what it was for. I lit him from the top and back to get the focus heavy on his head and to juxtapose his grim expression i gave him a little plant and gave it its own spotlight for some humor cos he looks so serious. The bag on his waist is maybe a seed bag. By this time I'm thinking of him some kinds plant shaman.
Hope it gives you some ideas anyway
