Greetings, fellow humans! - MetaShinryu - 05-17-2016

Hi!

Im Luis Angel Payano, a 22 years old self-taught illustrator wannabe from Dominican Republic.

I made this account when i found out about the daggers through dave and dan's videos, at which point, i was trying to get a grip of the whole arting thing, struggled massively with drawing and painting, and didn't really know what i wanted to do with my art.

I continuously shied away from posting, and kept telling myself i would do so when felt i was "good enough"... only to realize about a year later that i was just running to the horizon, and still feel the same way.

In any case, after outrageous amounts of soul-searching and trying to get good on my own, i decided its about time i get involved in the community, so... yeah :)

Hiya Luis!

Unless you haven't illustrated anything in your life, you aren't a wannabe! Seems you joined last year only to speak out today.

Months old late welcome to the Crimson Daggers. There's nothing wrong with being 'not good enough'. In fact, that's probably a good thing. Thinking to yourself being not good enough is a good indicator of there's a lot of potential for you to make a better version of yourself, rather than thinking you're already good enough that there's no need for you to climb new heights.

Here's to hoping you'll have a meaningful stay! To progress!
