Hi there i came to talk about the rule of third. I did a bit of paint over also but i will not elaborate on that much i let you try to practice your eye.

As far as the rule of third you seem to be ignoring it which i don't understand why. This is a great tool you should be utilizing i believe.

I did crop a bit of the left section to try to make the character running fall on one of the four corner that are utilize to put focus point in the rule of third. But what could be improve from that would be if you made deliberately the head of the dragon fall the opposite side on the other corner of center frame with a bit more of foreshorten.

It doesn't matter how elongated the frame is the rule of third will still work.

The first picture is after cropping the character fall on 2 of 4 corner of the center frame and i think this help to establish him as the center point of interest first.
Will in the none crop version there is no centering point because nothing feel of real importance. Like a face fall on the focus point. The flow of the dragon and it size in that case make him dominant in that composition i would argue but atleast the head flow point back toward the character so it help create a circling motion.

Overall i think you still use good principle but i would argue for stronger use of the rule of third.
