alrighty, so got a nother mentor thing tomorrow, should be interesting... Watching a 4.5 hr demo from Ray Bustos going over old masters anatomy, I need to start applying this stuff to juice up my figure drawings. They are are getting there with the gesture and boxiness, but they are looking a bit tube like and more like maniquins than figures. Gotta add those little lumps and bumps but i'll say ray is a treat to learn from and its very helpful just to hear these latin names and have them assigned. Will definitely rewatch these vids a lot as time goes on as i wanna really get good as fuck at anatomy so maybe one day i can sketch some things from imagination that are worth a shit
Also started a little thumbnail for a like Athena idea i had; I like the composition but will probably edit the pose a bit to make her not just looking off and have her interacting with the scroll maybe looking apprehensive or wary that the viewer should trust the power contained within. Owls r cool of course, contemplating having the owl facing the viewer or the scroll. Not sure what'd be more appealing; well see!
