Hey guys

Brian Hermelijn

Or wait no.. that still doesn't resolve the issue of using too many accounts *scratches head* just gonna go draw..

Only post like sketch dumps etc. on forums, and treat other places more of a place to show WIP maybe instagram can show couple of sketches here and there.

Alright yeah. I think solution is brianhdesign/brianhart for instagram. Twitter just use my name and anywhere else. Forums stick with Hermidraws since that's what I have been using for all forums.

Hehe.

I do know that I keep my photography and drawing split at least :P

12 Jul 06:26

Eyliana

Hmm.. having it split into two names creates two specific audiences and that look at two specific fields, so they know what they get. If you combine it it might send mixed messages, like an instagram gallery with Art/illustration and Graphic Design. I always find that a bit weird, if it's two totally different things. But if it is the same kind of works that still connect to each other somehow? Dunno...

12 Jul 06:23

Brian Hermelijn

--

Since its basically 2 fields at once (Art & Graphic Design)

12 Jul 06:23

Brian Hermelijn

Well I am speaking it more of specifically the creative side not on twitch alone, but on other sites as well (twitter, instagram, behance, dribbble) etc.

12 Jul 06:22

Eyliana

There are a lot of gamers out there that stream now creative with the same account and that also seems to work. :)

12 Jul 06:22

Eyliana

--

True :) but I wouldn't worry about it too much

12 Jul 06:21

Brian Hermelijn

--

If that makes sense.

12 Jul 06:21

Brian Hermelijn

--

Maybe I am overthinking it, but probably like with my real name you can show diverse things in a way and under hermidraws it implies more of someone whom draws or does art ?

12 Jul 06:19

Brian Hermelijn

--

Reason I have been like struggling to choose between the two, because I am currently learning in both fields in a way.

12 Jul 06:17

Eyliana

--

I think both would work :)

12 Jul 06:17

Brian Hermelijn

--

But at one point I believe both art/design will overlap one another. (combining the two)

12 Jul 06:16

Brian Hermelijn

ALright, right now if you google Brian Hermelijn, you get like mainly design stuff, and Hermidraws is basically the name I used on the forums.

12 Jul 06:15

Eyliana

--

Your nick at CD is pretty pronouncable/readable so that would work :) I just use Eyliana everywhere to make it recognizable. If you have a portfolio/artstation/DA/website or something, use the name you use there

12 Jul 06:14

Brian Hermelijn

--

Ah. What about name, better to use your real name or nickname? (Art/Design)

12 Jul 06:14

Eyliana

--

I only watch the creative stuff though, so if that's on different names it wouldn't matter for me :P. If you stream different things artwise, I would use the same name

12 Jul 06:14

Eyliana

--

Most streamers I follow stream under the same name, gaming and creative.

12 Jul 06:12

Brian Hermelijn

--

What do you guys think? Best to stream under 1 name?

12 Jul 06:11

Brian Hermelijn

--

I know there are streamers whom used to do one thing, then eventually switched thing into the other (if the interest grew bigger for the other)

12 Jul 06:11

Brian Hermelijn

--

Trying to think if I should stream under 1 name or just have separate accounts hmm.

12 Jul 05:37

Eyliana

--

Fancy that :)

Recently found you can also make gradients (found a ytube video of someone using it)

12 Jul 05:31

Brian Hermelijn

Yeah.

12 Jul 05:30

Like a reversed normal waterbrush pen xD

Sounds intresting :P
