'a new earth' by eckhart tolle is a genuinely amazing read. one of the few books that really does change your outlook on life for the better without ramming anything down your throat in a sickly way :)

I recommend barbara fredrikson if you want a scientific reseaech based take on positive thinking philosophy. the idea isn't claptrap, the way it is explained by most self helpers is shockingly nauseating though.

mm. true. btw thanks monkeybread and foxfire, i agree i was gonna have some sort of racer vehicle in red there shining but it just looked a bit corny. should probs have rendered it a bit more too but honestly i wanted to move on more than i wanted to tighten things up. as for design the idea was a small hut built by an explorer/ researcher as a base for him to wander around researching plants or just finding some new places, though i agree the design to suggest this is pretty weak!

:D Glad you guys liked the video! About youth worshiping: it wasn't always like that. Back on 60's, people actually waned up that there was something very wrong with having role models younger than you. And it even wasn't that long time ago that things switched.

Close to 80 degrees yesterday and there's once again snow this morning. They say if you're really quiet you can hear the cry of every person with a weather changing sinus-induced headache.

all these companies are exactly why a capitalist system and model isn't ideal...it requires a megalomaniac in charge, a lack of morals and a certain amount of ruthlessness to ensure the future of the company. the open source model is awesome, but who mainstream has heard of linus torvalds even though Android captures somewhere between 50 and 80% of the smartphone market now?

really nice lighting on those hills wardy. great atmo, needs more of a f of cal point, and more design in general. where is this, what is going on, who is that, and why do I care? questions you should be asking yourself.
