--steve jobs was severely fucked up and couldnt maintain normal relationships with people. domineering and dictatorial. yes he had vision, was he a nice person. Not at all. Be careful how you judge sucess, the method of one's journey is probably more relevant than the final destination. 10, 00 hours...yeah...nothing like a false goal to get one juiced up. just enjoy the ride, don't be focused on the end

--awesome fkin link sula,the point about the youth for me was mindblowing , have you guys read malcom gladwell's outliers? its an awesome book about famous peoples successes and he explains that theres certain factors and formulas that play for you to be able to be successful as bill gates and steve jobs

--nice reminder Sula. and then there's van gogh, who only sold one painting in his entire life and only became "successful" posthumously. ultimate bummer...but I think that's the key for real creatives....they have the intrinsic motivation to just do it no matter what....and yeah celebrity is the worst thing...we have a lot to hate those ad executives in the mid 20th century for actually.
