--yeah Sula totally agree. with the dA contests , you always know there will be really amazing pro entries, and you definitely should never aim at winning, there's no point. just aim at doing your best and challenging yourself in a way you wouldn't normally. for example I haven't done characters much at all, and I struggle with design and dynamism in action, so those were my personal goals for the piece. having a deadline really pushed me as well. result...a folio piece and some exp gained in weaker areas. :)

--theres truth in that , but i have am self aware enough to judge weather or not id be able to beat them and i know at the moment im not good enough at , anatomy , rendering etc to be able to do it
