But kids would still complain because pros have better ideas and are more creative

They should just judge based on technique and creativity/idea

people where actually complaining that pros did better than amateurs?... "sigh"

about d3, last comp people were complaining that it was too hard to go against all the pro entries since none of the more amateur pieces got in. this time it's the other way round. I also saw people complaining about no trad entries getting picked, only digital. fact of the matter is, not everyone can be satisified, it is a tough j8b deciding when all this is chucked at you to decide amongst...I wouldn't want to be the judges. haters gonna hate...people need to worry about other things haha people continuously crack me up with their narrow view of things. :)

heh. You guys remember when we learn how to shade for the first time and have shadows going so deep that everything looks silvery? I think behavior at large sort of acts this way. You swing between two extremes before finding balance

It's like the ''Excesively talking about gay rights because the scene is so bad'' argument. We as a society have gone too far, and now we need to exaggerate things to get it back on the right track

21 Mar 07:46

I think lust should be more permisive in artwork, but right now it shouldn't because of how far companies have taken it. Looking at a painting of a naked hot woman by an artist that is really into that stuff shouldn't feel as bad as it feels.

Right, because it's a universe shown through multiple perspectives and it inspires conflicting emotions.

GoT is the example of what I said before about how sex can make a story more interesting

I don't care about half naked women/men in the frontpage of cghub, because I'm not interested in it, but I do care about shitty comercial designs

I think the show could be a little less boob-driven sometimes. But then again, it's HBO.

21 Mar 07:40

Yeah, I don't have a problem with GoT at all, but I've seen people complain about it

Game of thrones presents a sexist society. You have full fledged female characters in a toxic environment. So the author is not sexist; But the sexism appears in situations because of the society. If he was truly sexist, Brienne wouldn't exist as she is.
