You guys never heard of the IMC? Illustration master class is intensive, no break, everyone producing illustrations all around you. I have heard it's an amazing learning experience - and it's that expensive because of the pros involved.

You need to simplify in a different way, I also preffer to start with a solid drawing like james gurney does, it makes everything easier
