Hey daggers, sorry if this is a stupid question, but is there any way I can prevent a program I'm using to hold a reference image to not minimize automatically when I work in my drawing program? I'm using windows if that helps.

i use different brushes for different edges myself

or easier, make the hard edge with a hard brush, then make the lost edge with an airbrush

yea maybe when i have some extra money and a day off work. I've learned a ton already just collecting references of real machinery and looking at other artists designs. starting to understand functionality and also how to direct the eye with the design elements
