Nous: I've heard that before, only to enroll and find out that's just what's being said. I've never managed to bond with a professor/tutor to have a mentor. There was always too many students and the professors too busy/change too frequently

These courses such as schoolism etc - can increase technical skill if followed through but a mentorship would be worth more imo, because they actually cater towards your strengths and goals as an artist.

I've seen some schoolism and they are some of the best - like Nathan Fowkes and Advanced Lighting with Sam Nielson but make sure if you're going to pay for it get the tuition course.
