I'm still a bit star struck, you know. When i started playing D&D 3rd and 1st saw his art, I was amazed. It was like we was from another planet. I started learning english back them to read the original books cause the translated one sucked haha

"I like your circles"

He was nice, and a little out there

I told him i liked his circles, (nearly every painting he had with him had a single solitary circle as a focal point), and then he looked at me like i was a crazy person because I guess he didn't get what i was referring to, then i did that thing where you try to awkardly explain what something really vague means, and then it went exaclty how you think that would go

Meat: Yep, I'll ask him! But you, notes and screenshot and everything haha... and Toodles, he was so nice on the test run here, at least. I am still a bit nervous/accent shy though

I remember it being like 15% of the time we have young-ish female models. And one who was some kind of athlete with short hair, tan skin, and eye-popping bod

fill in the squares. Don't judge, just put them out. Get a music to help the mood you're aiming too. Have fun. It will come to you :0

Get a blank template ( https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1614...mplate.psd ) think of what you to draw. Lay the simple, side view of the scene. now rotate the camera. now to the other side. Just to kickstart. The idea will start to solidify

All I know is I want to do this sky, soaring piece with some kind of flying creature/thing, but no idea on the angle or anything. But yeah, will do what all of you guys suggest, and do the hard work of chipping the idea out with thumbs

01 Mar 13:31

meat

my mind blanks out horrifically when I tried to comp this thing.

01 Mar 13:31

meat

Ursula, that's kind of the problem - I can't think of thumbs!

meat

lol, thanks guys, I've been doodling not thumb comps, but just from ref photo of an eagle I think I want in that piece

01 Mar 13:07

Ursula Dorada

Meat: basic thing to do is to do EVERY possible thumbnail you can think of. Exhaust possibilities. Usually there is a surprising good one there :)

Even if it takes like 20 hrs for you to come up with something "Where there's a will there's a way" - GOKU
