--Most of the half hour rests are for exercise
13 Feb 08:14
--Yeah, what Finn said. And I agree, Gliger. It's ridiculous to work yourself to the point that you screw up your arm (though, I am guilty). And when it comes to exercise, I reckon that it's super important to maintain regular exercise. It releases all that good stuff, leaving you in a positive state of mind to keep on going!

--You should be fine even with eleven and a half hours of work, but you'll definitely have a few weeks of trouble adjusting. And no friends.

--Wrist pain only relates to holding your stylus improperly. Learned that the hard way.

--Someone mentioned if I was going to fzd. If I had the money I would have been there years ago. The thing is I'm still thinking of going, because of the fundementals that are picked up and it will save you from doing or spending 1000's on online course like cgma or gnomon.
13 Feb 06:44
--Of course, health always first, I've seen some people romanticizing the idea of drawing so much that you end up having arm problems, I think that's stupid, If my body can't handle this routine, I'll just adapt a more passive style of life, more looking and thinking instead of drawing.
13 Feb 06:37
--Yeah, what JJ Aaron said... I mean that's just, ugh. Insane. I love art and I love studying it... but health comes first and always will.
13 Feb 06:29
--If you can get 11 in that's great... and i'm envious. But if it fails, just try and get at least 8.
13 Feb 06:27
--I'll try a couple of days first without caffeine, to see if my body can actually handle it, I don't want to be tricked by the caffeine and die after 3 days lol, 11 hours isn't that much, I guess most medicine students study about that much
13 Feb 06:24
--they don't manage it, they just do art all day... I don't think it's necessary though, get a good amount of time in but don't kill yourself.
13 Feb 06:22
--I have 5 half hour rests I'll use to do exercise, eat etc. how do those people manage to do that??
13 Feb 06:20
--The thing is, I still don't understand how some people do 16-18, even if I don't rest in those 3:30 hours left, I still only get to 15 per day
13 Feb 06:07
--about 11:30 hours of drawing, and then 3:30 hours of whatever I decide to do until sleep

--Draw like a maniac, you won't regret it. They only thing I'll say about ip's is that if it's comics - it takes a tonne of time to plan out, so nail what you wish to concentrate on and hammer at it.
13 Feb 02:42
--There's no way I'm going to play 4 hours per day, I'm not capable of that anymore
13 Feb 02:41
--If I'm smart about it I could study hardcore 8 hours/day, have 4 for reading, watching tutorials, researching etc. and another 4 hours for whatever I want to do
