If I'm smart about it I could study hardcore 8 hours/day, have 4 for reading, watching tutorials, researching etc. and another 4 hours for whatever I want to do

Sure there's many but what specific industries? I mean in the movie one alone there are perhaps a 1000 creatives, from what I've heard. Many won't hit the games industry and vice versa, not to say that there isn't cross overs.

The of course there is the lowly production concept artist in a factory line who often gets shafted. Think big. Also I've noticed that there might only be a hundred or less badass ones out there, but it seems like a lot more because of the coverage..

They usually set the wnite visual standard for a game or movie. Then you have illustrators who do covers, posters, inlays, prints, etc.
