--I was also thinking about making a post aboout story telling. I post a very lose character, almost a stick figure, and in each post someone draws or paints a little scene for the character, and we have to follow it in the next post

--That's a good start to loosen up and to practice line drawing . Wotek has 1hr of sketching a day as a standard. The better you get, you can cross over your skills.

--You can mix them - in the anatomy section can include animals and humans in perspective. Leave industrial design to hard surface and possibly an additional Master study section(which can include material indictaion).

--My perspective + industrial design section doesn't have any soft surface, like human/animals in perspective

--If want to be even specific in concept art, you could factor in the usual cliches of creatures, environments, technology, accessories. material indication, master studies and experimentation, however they cross roads with some of the fundemental topies you've listed.
