yeah i usually just draw a load of lines and eyeball the perspective (see if hte lines look like they meet at a vanishing point). is that wrong? so hard to draw a grid off screen...

Amit Dutta

your vp can be off screen, right?

06 Feb 19:52

Wardy

Wardy

its so hard to get 3 point crammed into such a tiny height though

06 Feb 19:51

Amit Dutta

your aspect is 2:1 @ 7000x3500. 3500 goes into 7000 twice

06 Feb 19:51

Wardy

will hire a friend to do that for me. maths isnt my strong point...

06 Feb 19:50

Amit Dutta

--

that's the aspect ratio I quoted. just multiply by a multiple to get pixels

06 Feb 19:50

Wardy

--

i ended up timesing 16 and 9 by something like 20 to get to a decent res ratio before, took ages

06 Feb 19:49

Wardy

--

like the ratio

06 Feb 19:49

Wardy

--

dunno really how to scale that up

06 Feb 19:49

Wardy

--

well i normally do 7000x3500 which seems pretty decent

06 Feb 19:49

Wardy

uuh...

3 point perspective that is

06 Feb 19:48

Wardy

there are many, maybe too many, but people who take it seriously who I can talk to and hang out to draw or something, nope, haven't met a single one IRL

i did a painting course at Kingston Uni in oils and acrylics and there was one (rather cute) girl my age, the rest were over 50
