--there are many, maybe too many, but people who take it seriously who I can talk to and hang out to draw or something, nope, haven't met a single one IRL

06 Feb 19:46
--i did a painting course at Kingston Uni in oils and acrylics and there was one (rather cute) girl my age, the rest were over 50
06 Feb 19:46
--to be fair i would say you wont find many young people doing life drawing classes unless for AS/A2
06 Feb 19:44
--I maybe should stop trying so much to make artists friends my age, because there aren't many
06 Feb 19:43
--@warf, yeah all good, your brief actually got me inspired to do a piece myself...maybe. will post my development process for you if I do. might help?
06 Feb 19:43
--I'm going to start going daily to a live drawing group, I hope I meet some cool people because holy shit I don't know artists in real life
06 Feb 19:42
--yeah totally gliger, I only use facebook to spam art now. haha. I prefer talking to real people, notmpixels for real friends :)
06 Feb 19:42
--but srsly take your time. decided im starting again, more for my own practice than anything else. working on some character and figure drawing so dont worry im not waiting on your response to carry on :)
06 Feb 19:40
--no worries ward...working on a response... but got a hot date this weekend. that wins. lol
06 Feb 19:40
--yeah, that's what I meant when I said that it is not so useful to put work your out there if you are not creating your own stuff
06 Feb 19:39
--anthony jones who was already established and popular yes. for developing artists not so much. not saying don't have one, but it's not going to trump real connects if you're just starting
06 Feb 19:39
--it's just a way to keep in touch with fans and other artists, get them to like you more
06 Feb 19:37
--i heard that its quite good for promotion? never tried it myself but i see where you are coming from. thanks for the crit btw monkey
06 Feb 19:37
--But then you look at anthony Jones who got like 70% of his kickstarter funding from facebook
06 Feb 19:36
--@lyraina imo facebook is almost wholely useless for doing anything that will aid your art in an absolute way. it is fine for following people, maybe keeping in touch with people and groups you've already met in person, but seems like a self promotional cesspit otherwise. does more likes on your page get you work? probably not.
06 Feb 19:36
--i slept face down last night... i still have the imprint of my pillow on my face like a bright red tattoo
06 Feb 19:31
--maybe I just slept in a weird position, like sleeping on my hands or something
06 Feb 19:30
--it's a pen, and I'm holding it in the most relaxing position I know, I pretty much just using my shoulder and elbow
06 Feb 19:27
--to be honest, it's just an specific position when stretching, but a small thogh consistent pain while drawing
