/pvt 1659 It's always great when you see a nice piece of art complemented by great logos and typography.

/pvt 1659 Plus guys like Kemp Remillard have a background in it and it shows in their work.

/pvt 1659 You know, graphic design might really be an idea. I've done a little work for ad companies and that stuff's fascinating.

/pvt 3806 yeah its expensive. worth doing the right course but its always a gamble. for me im doing it so i have a backup for concept art- product and graphic design. important to have a plan B in the art world i think

/pvt 1659 Maybe I'd be better off giving up on the idea and trying to earn the cash to attend an Atelier for a year.

/pvt 1659 But obviously the remainder of the course I'd need to pull £9000/year in tuition out of thin air, not to mention rent and living.

/pvt 1659 I think I could still get a year's tuition fees out of Student Finance England for the foundation year.

/pvt 3806 is that for a foundation or what? i know its only free if your under 19 which is annoying (was gonna take a gap year, will do after the foundation now). I was so suprised to hear back from them literally a day after the interview!!

Unless I got very lucky and somebody offered me a regular freelance gig doing storyboards or marker sketches for adverts, isn't going to happen :/

02 Feb 06:24

Which means I'd have to fund it out of my own pocket.

I'd love to go to Central Saint Martin's for illustration but I already tried uni once and blew it.

I use the half life model viewer, that can be used through modification following a guide i can link you to. I also use Steam modo because the shading can all be accomplished in it. I pmed u we can talkabout it more on steam

For instance what software do you use to test assets on character meshes, say for dota2 as an example?

Cheers man, I'm currently researching the whole process of it, from creation to greenlight approval.
