--i recommend the hot process then the cold, the hot process disinfects and the cold process brings down the inflammation =D try it, hope you feel better

--as for hot compression you can heat up some water or use chopsticks or a fork to fold it around int he hot water and gently place it over your eye, make sure its not boiling hot tho lol

--Danial, cold or hot compress works =D Wet and drain a paper towel and fold it into a square and put it in the freezer, it solidifies but is bendable so you can make it fit right over your eye
