--I would get an intuos 3, its about as good as the others minus some features. I'm excited to get a companion soon for tons of outdoor studies :D

--yeah my wacom pen is destoryed the buttons on the side stopped working completely and everytime i pressed them the wacom driver would crash so i took it out :/

--Smrrfette - well, I personally take awful care about my intuos4, and literally nothing has happened to it in course of like several years. And I am like on my second nib or something:) The surface does very quickly become shiny and smooth, but nothing actually happens to it. A friend also has intuos4 and he's worse than I am and his intuos is also all good. But maybe others have different experiences...

--JJ, it just makes your pen nib worn out faster, and doesnt translate all too well to the screen. You can try though, just cover it with a smoother surface, like an animation cel material

--i started this challenge for myself where i have to paint 45 character concepts by feb 1st and when i first started i could only do one a day now im doing 4 a day and they look better than the first ones
