Smrrfette - well, I personally take awful care about my intuos4, and literally nothing has happened to it in course of like several years. And I am like on my second nib or something:) The surface does very quickly become shiny and smooth, but nothing actually happens to it. A friend also has intuos4 and he's worse than I am and his intuos is also all good. But maybe others have different experiences...

Is it good to cover the Intuos4's surface because the nibs wear the surface down? I forgot the reason D:

JJ, it just makes your pen nib worn out faster, and doesnt translate all too well to the screen. You can try though, just cover it with a smoother surface, like an animation cel material

Has anyone tried taping a piece of copy paper over your wacom surface? Does it effect the sensitivity or anything?

how do you keep the concepts from becoming repetetive?

12 Jan 08:13

futurespaceghost

its because the more you paint the more you sub conciusly cut out the bs and fine tune your workflow
