--...well *disclaimer* too much for me at times. (Hogarth) I should probably go back and check it out. I just felt like it was going over things that were way more technical than could be thought of while drawinig e.g. angel degrees of head tilts. juicy art history, ect. I just wanna draw killer figures quickly and its a lot of heady info that is a lot less of a direct path than other books/methods. still awesome though! X)

--Michael Hampton's Figure Drawing's another one of those high yield books. and Hogarth is, but sometimes its a little too much-a good reference book if you have a speciffic question though

--I have both Color and Light, and Imaginative Realism. I'm partial to light, so I'd say get Color and Light before Imaginative Realism - but both are good books!

--Start with something like a simple statue, or a desk lamp, don't go as complex as an engine, or as simple as an apple, well, technically the apple is the most complex but you know what I mean
