--BTW, is there any particular reason why the latest CC winner's pic up in the Crucible Hall of Fame links to the Crimson Daggers front page, so you go nowhere? Usually it leads to their SB or their personal page.

--Of course everyone has a different process. Like James Gurney he creates his creatures and then use those as a model to draw his illustrations. And also small quick sketches, which then he uses those to create a bigger illustration.
29 Jun 18:52
--But from what I am understanding thus far from all the illustrations is : 1. Research/Write down the overall theme 2. Gather reference 3. Thumbnail sketches 4. Study 5. Apply what you studied to the chosen thumb sketch 6. Finalize?

--Decided to hop on since I was checking one last time to the shoutbox, but now you said that I am gonna try to specify a bit more. Alright. We learn about anatomy, perspective, composition, flow, gesture etc. all of the necessary techniques, but I guess the main question is, what would be the process from start to finish with image making. Like from what I notice I think there was a hierarchy somewhere about this.
29 Jun 18:29
--Speaking to Hermi's question on illustration process, without specifying any steps at all, because workflows can vary so much, the most fundamental way I think about it is that one should always go from solving the biggest problems first to iteratively solving smaller and smaller ones as you go, until you see no more, time's up or you can't stand to look at it any more.
