@Hermi: Looks good - there's an article on there on Fundamentals that I might go back and read later myself.

"We are truly the #1 blog covering concept art and digital art as a profession. " Hoho... bold statement, but anyway. Yeah. Video + Content sounds good.

Yeah podcast type stuff seems to be really taking off.

I'll probably be doing a video to go with each article as a narrated version. That seems to be the way a log of people want this content.

Yep - a good approach.

28 Jun 06:13

OtherMuzz

You might want to also consider a link to your most popular content on the landing page - once you work out what that is.

It's good to have links to latest content on the landing page - show visitors that the site is alive and updated often.

Sounds like something I'd bookmark :)

Looks good mate - I like the name - suggests serious art talk - the design has an academia feel to it.

Shit ton of work left though

Those tiles up top are going to dynamically grab stuff from the articles as a feature of the four latest.

Each to their own mate - each to their own :).

Yeah that's fair. I guess the thought of it kinda just grosses me out. I tend to be funny that way.

I guess I just went for WordPress because I didn't have to do too much of the thinking - there's so many plugins and such a large developer community that I can usually get the answers I'm looking for with it.

28 Jun 05:55

Thanks - just made a note to myself.

28 Jun 05:54

but then i tend to always go for the new shiny toys, rather than old tried and tested.

I'd recommend having a play with a skeleton site from grav next time. It's much nicer. the admin panel is great too.

Fair enough - I can't comment as I don't know the inner workings well enough - it serves my purposes anyway :).

It was never a cms to begin with, it was a blog system that was used for way more than it should have been
