--Actually working on this one. My idea is a bit cliche and obvious, but hopefully the twist on it is interesting enough.

--Craig, use 2 point in that case. the rotated box will have its own vp anyways.

--Maybe try sketching it out in orthogonal views first (side view, top view and front view) and then using that information to help you with the perspective view.

--What's the best way to draw a box in one point perspective which isn't aligned with the plane to the vanishing point?

--Hmmm I think I see the light now - I've been looking a lot at trees just recently (without trying to draw them) and now I feel like I could sit down and draw a better tree than I could before! Thanks folks :).

--At school there was a lot of hyoe but much cinfusion over the concept of 'learning to see'. There still is a lot of confusion on online forums but primarily that's a good example. You don't have to be making art to study something. You need to be conscious of what you're looking at.

--Sounds cool Bookend! I bet you could draw an even better puma if you tried sketching them as well during the 4 - 5 hours.

--I read somewhere that Frank Frazetta would sit and watch a puma at the zoo for 4 - 5 hours, come home and be drawing lots of pumas. I'm paraphrasing, they could've been lions. But, I wonder if I actually sat and looked-- Really looked-- At pumas for 4 - 5 hours, if I could go home, and draw -really awesome- pumas. I bet I could. I bet we all could. That's a fun exercise I'm going to try. ^^
