Whoa, well yeah LA has stupid cost of living

A hard working art professional can be property owner, have a car, and go on annual vacations, but they will probably not renovate the whole property and line the roof with solar, drive a Tesla, and get on airplane more than once a year all on their own expense... Tesla cars look cool....

Oh yea, proko, Jeff Watts, Anthony Jones, and a few other hundred people who worked their ass off for it, just basically homeless

Yea Sakimichan, Feng Zhu, Stanley Lau, Rapoza: the dude who made this website, and everyone who lives in LA as freelancers are dirt poor

You can get rich doing art. But it takes work.

Then again, same could be said on just about anything...

Yeah although I sure won't mind being always able to afford a nice comfy apartment and good food, lol! But art calls, and I answer like an addict.

Doing art makes you rich inside your soul - something more valuable than financial wealth. Cheesy but what the heck :).

Who said they want to be rich doing art? They need to watch more talks from professional conference.

Sarcasm aside, Nous is right though, it ain't easy; Art, especially becoming a freelancer, is not for the weak minded or someone who pussies out easily. I will concede that. :)

Yeah money is overwhelmingly a force for good in the world. Let us be slaves to the art no more!

Great advice Amit, money is everything in life. I agree. I'm gonna go back to Computer Engineering.

Actually working on this one. My idea is a bit cliche and obvious, but hopefully the twist on it is interesting enough.

Craig, use 2 point in that case. the rotated box will have its own vp anyways.

Maybe try sketching it out in orthogonal views first (side view, top view and front view) and then using that information to help you with the perspective view.

@Craig: You mean a box that is not aligned with the ground plane?
