Are they actually allowed to send ppl back that are already there?

23 Jun 04:34

Piotr Jasielski

Eyliana

And if the UK leaves, they can decide which people they want to take in, instead of that they have to take all the poles :P

I have a Swedish boyfriend that moved to NL a year ago, no problems. Within a week you have a security number, within a month all essentials are set up. From outside European Union it can take ages to get a permit and you have to add value or a refugee that can't return

economy will go down everywhere in eu

Something with too many immigrants, and other... I actually don't know. I guess they don't like being depended/overruled by EU laws

23 Jun 04:29

John

23 Jun 04:29

Eyliana

They have a referendum this Thursday about if they want to stay in the Eurpean Union or not

23 Jun 04:28

John

What's happening with the Brits?

23 Jun 04:27

Eyliana

Yeah as always it's generally interpretation where things go wrong. Most religions say similar things at their core, but kinda miss the point entirely when it comes to the doctrine. That's why I like taoism...it's mostly non doctrinal. It's not even a religion really, more just a philosohpy

22 Jun 20:58

OtherMuzz

There are some nice parts of a few religions, the problem is it comes with way too much mental baggage.

22 Jun 20:55

Amit Dutta

Just labels anyway...

22 Jun 20:54

Amit Dutta

Haha, actually I'm probably about done too :) I personally have benefitted from the tenets of Taoism in many ways, but I am very much a scientist too, starting off in Physics, so yeah I guess I have a slightly different viewpoint than the typical scientist/atheist paradigm :)

22 Jun 20:50

OtherMuzz

But then i don't really have much more to say on the topic. >_>

22 Jun 20:45

OtherMuzz

--

Yeah it's a pretty natural thing to do,

22 Jun 20:43

Amit Dutta

--

Yeah, I guess we are beings of judgement and meaning. We make judgements of the world around us and want to attribute meaning to them one way or the other.

When you learn the evidence and reasons for why people believe crazy stuff, then it becomes close to impossible to hold such beliefs yourself. Religion has always asked why questions of everything, of things where that question makes no sense.
