--Hey man, if this art career doesn't go well, you could be the 'Paper Clip' bandit!

--it's just preference at the moment, muzz. i really want to color, but it's really a convenience. i have a feeling im creeping into comfort zone territory and laziness though haha
05 Jun 23:24
--Are you going to work only with pencil all the way @Jak? Or are you going to switch to color some day?
05 Jun 23:03
--oh god sounds hard, neopatogen 0__0 (it's going well, john: at the rate im going, I'll be down one illustration and one character by september...hopefully that number doesn't increase.)

--Anyone tried subdividing an ellipse in 3-point perspective into equal parts? 16 or so. Without 3d software. S Robertson's method for 2-point perspective doesn't work. I think maybe I should just eyeball it...

--Hurray! I'm trying to shave off some asshole karma I've been lugging around and I thought I just added another to the scoreboard!

--oh no you i didnt get a condescending vibe from you, i just never understood the blue pencil bit. That really is a good idea...I want to try scanning in my next pencil drawing using a process similar to that. I just don't like drawing in photoshop much if I don't plan on adding color. thanks man
05 Jun 20:32
--I suggested using blue pencils because the marks you leave with it are lighter than the average pencil. After doing the initial blue pencil sketch, you go in with your standard pencils to make the sketch tighter. If you scan them, you can easily take out the blue markings with Photoshop.

--Looks like I didn't explain the process right! I apologize if I came off condescending.
05 Jun 20:21
--my dumb brain doesn't understand any of that haha but i will definitely try next time. the numerous preliminary steps confuses the SHIT outta me. watching traditional animation processes is like rocket science/cyborgbrain surgery. like, im dumb man

--If it's going to go through a computer, have you thought about running your initial sketch using a blue pencil?
