Man i wish they taught people how to read scientific studies in high school. Like science reporting is such garbage that it's the only way to actually get close to the truth

plants can sense to some degree but they do not poses the nervous system of animals, thy mainly response to essential conditions such as lighting and water, furthermore vegan diet is based on the products of plants - various types of seeds - not plants themselves

Hmm. I'm not a tomato plant. I'm more like my heliotrope that has died off twice now and keeps trying to make a comeback.

ive heard tomato plants can get "cocky" if growing conditions are too optimal. They require some hardships in order to grow to their max size. Like how people with easy lives arnt as ambitious typically.

yea if you watch that video the guy says they respond to sound

31 May 12:03

They don't just respond to stimuli i thought it was recently established that the inreased output of electric impulses from plants that were cut showed they experience pain.

31 May 11:57

Adam Lina

plants respond to stimuli so they must have something that functions as a nervous system

@Adam: Plant's dont have nervous system and they usually produce seed (fruits, nuts etc) in order to be eaten, this way they can reproduce in larger areas

31 May 08:59

Piotr Jasielski

besides you could have been already deficient in b12, 60% of the population is

31 May 08:57

Piotr Jasielski

--

@neo: you have to make sure your diet is balanced, you eat enough flax seed oil, calories and vitamins from veggies. Don't eat only dry paper
