--Learning to copy trains you to "see", so thinking like comparing angles, proportions, ect. You know how when you flip an image and it looks fucked? that's because you haven't trained your perception yet, copying is the easiest way to fix that.

--Which is making me confused in a way, thus far I gathered that there is 2 exercises he mentioned. One freehand sketching on a 3D surface (like the cushart example) and one with a ruler. And the second one is straight up probably putting a grid on a photo and draw that and drawing from life by using grid?
