--yea
30 May 07:33
--@Adam, that's the way I used to do it, now I am experimenting with Nicolaides way of doing it.
30 May 07:32
--try ghosting the line first. take more time with each line and figure it out before you make the mark
30 May 07:29
--@Hermi Well.. you are putting more lines into your latest ones than your July 2014s. I think the 2014 lines we're more confident, but also provide a less accurate information. While the later ones are not so confident but I think it reads better.

--Did like a review of how I draw boxes (last night), and saw how sloppy I still do them.
30 May 07:27
--Yeah that's one of the practice in my new routine for next month @Adam, especially boxes.
30 May 07:23
--thats good you should start with that as soon as possible. you can still practice your gestures along with them
30 May 07:21
--This is the new learning approach that Muzz suggested which I will commence with : http://crimsondaggers.com/forum/thread-7...#pid102113
30 May 07:20
--i did the same thing with only doing quick gestures and thinking id perfect that before learning construction but thats not how it works
30 May 07:18
--And @John Alright. Although I have some others see it, they mentioned the same thing about the poses not having confidence after 2014.
30 May 07:18
--@Adam I am speaking specifically the gestures right now, construction is what I will be getting in to in the start of next month,
30 May 07:17
--you need to move passed gestures into finished drawings. finished drawings are where you actually learn to draw. gestures is just the first 1% of a drawing. the next stage is construction.
30 May 07:17
--Personally speaking, I think there's progressive growth from year to year. You're tacking and able to pull off much bolder poses (like the legs in perspective in 2016) this year. So... yeah. I think you have a better grasp of anatomy now than the previous years.
30 May 07:01
--Alias, I will still be putting the advice Muzz suggested in practice, and of course, manipulate to something that works for me.
30 May 07:01
--What do you guys think? Because I do recall doing gestures with just 1 line (minimal lines as proko suggested), but eventually I have found Nicolaides/Huston way of drawing the gesture.
30 May 07:00
--Oh yeah, there is one thing I want clarification on, Muzz mentioned that my gestures haven't improve, and stated that the ones in 2014 is more confident : http://crimsondaggers.com/forum/attachme...?aid=86364
30 May 06:15
--Thanks for the CC ^^. Nearly finsihed my image, next I'll finish it in time :)
30 May 06:02
--What I find most fascinating is, someone said if you can construct the figure, you can actually draw anything. Since the figure is like the most complex subject to draw.

--Eee, was sleeping while the stream was on... Thank you all so much for having the Crimson Crucible challenge and the streams and the community and everything here! Everyone is just so awesome, my brain sometimes explodes just looking at the stuff :D
30 May 04:10
--In general the idea of having studies where you have specific tests you can check yourself with, they have been the most effective i've ever done.
30 May 04:04
--And muzz, thanks for sharing your insights, can't wait to try it out. Look forward to see what will happen in the beginning and at the end of June :D
30 May 04:04
--@Dennis Kutsenko: nope, I follow John Silva on facebook and saw the post about the stream on his wall
