The thing I think is relevant also since we are talking about learning, is it almost doesn't matter what advice someone reads...until they actually internalise it with the same realisation through doing/failing themselves. I applaud Muzz for his passion on wanting to jumpstart people's understanding, but it just won't happen until the person (not talking about anyone specifically) makes their own realisation. We read and even understand but don't apply good advice repeatedly on a daily basis.

Yeah, but you care in such an uncanny way, I can't help but believe that you actually DONT CARE. Not about the individual at least. So im gonna go ahead and begrudge you for "caring" Hurry up and talk shit about sycra so we can go on with our lives.

Bad art advice ruins careers. If you don't want to think about it, great, don't begrudge those that actually care.

Who even gives a fuck. Just draw. Seriously. If anybody needs help, I'm sure they will ask.

Also... just another thing, try and draw robots, they don't have the same weird cognitive issues that drawing humans seem to have. it's way easier to draw them in perspective.

This whole thing is bigger than just a few specific artists, there needs to be a cultural awareness for what methods do and don't get results, otherwise this whole forum thing is a bit of a waste.

Thing is dude i understand exactly why you are doing it. The problem is you read bad advice, and followed it.

But to a beginners eye, it may still be unclear due of its rigidness until they fail, and someone point out what the person was doing wrong (like you did in the thread) and how to correct it.

What I meant is you have to put yourself in the shoes of the beginner, and understand why the person was practicing said ways and not the way you said. In my case, I focused solely on the rhythm/gesture, because that's where my interests was throughout the years. It's not until recently, I wanted to learn more about actually developing/drawing accurate figures, which I will commence next month. That's what I meant. Your point is clear.
