--Thanks Dennis! @John I don't recommend this at all, but I have tried it and it worked for me. It's not a hack. Our REM cycle works on a 90 minute cycle. If you HAVE to get a reduced amount of sleep because of deadlines or whatever, set your alarm to wake you up at the end of a 90 minute iteration. So instead of sleeping 3.5 hours, sleep 3 and you will feel more refreshed, or sleep 4.5 instead of 4. It does seem to work
