i worked some pretty bad manual labour jobs and even then i forced myself to draw on the bus even though i was very tired

Yeah hospitality is not a great industry to be able to draw during in general :)

@Hob: I dunno. If you work in a restaurant, say a line cook, I swear you'd rather sleep and avoid your fingers getting chopped off from grogginess than drawing.

Need to get yourself out of 4 jobs....and you can't make excuses for keeping yourself in them...you just need to find a solution out of that

Working in a restaurant or factory doesn't exactly give me time to take a breathe let alone put pencil to paper.

Creative problemsolving's a big deal, but I wouldn't say art can be reduced to just that.

I do have a fondness with how sternly she said to Make Time. One of my own obstacles at the moment.

The thing I liked best about Karla's talk really was the problem solving thing. I love doing art for exactly that reason, and I view it in exactly that way. Artists are pretty much just creative problem solvers. This can be applied to your life as well as your art.

just do what you think you want to do and you will carve a niche in the art world

Well if I struggle to complete an entire scene but merchandise like a boss, it's an option.

16 May 20:30

Hobitt

I have decided if I don't make it as an artist I will be an assistant to one because I'm having a peevance at the basic slideshow Karla put together.
