Hopefully I'm not just bouncing off points already made, I'll have to read back some more, but I will say The comment on doing the same thing over and over not getting you anywhere is oversimplified and untrue. Any profession requires the experience of trial and repetition.

@Lodratio I disagree to some level about gaining nothing by doing the same thing over and over again. If that's true. Cast drawings, still life drawings, and the like, are all invalid practices.
