--Well I don't have any experience with recording pencils but I think the major thing would be to make sure your lighting is set properly - with too much light it's hard to see the lines

--I want to start recording my drawing process. At first I tried using my shitty (HD) webcam but you'd really need something with macro zoom and be able to compensate for hand movement across the focal point. I'm waiting until I have an extra $90 to throw on a document camera, which is designed for page-to-presentation so detail, speed and clarity.
