@Eyliana The pain! But much respect Eyli. As much respect as I give to Diablo players playing on hardcore. You crazy nut.

@John; I have only white gouache to bring back highlights. But I have been thinking of buying some more. And otherwise redoing the lineart only takes an hour or so...

Mahaha! After countless backspaces and re-entering the letters. I almost said "fuck it!" its GWASH". Spell it like I say it.

Gouache (/ɡuːˈɑːʃ, ɡwɑːʃ/; French: [ɡwaʃ]), body color [a], opaque watercolor, or guache

Hobitt

one of my favorite painting mediums

18 Apr 02:23

Hobitt

guache is great

18 Apr 02:22

John

@Eyliana Boy that's the hardest medium to master in my opinion. I'm not sure how much of a purist you are, but gouache can be pretty handy for watercolor correction. I mean, I'd hate to re-do the line art all over again.

18 Apr 02:22

Hobitt

yeah you havent updated often

Eyliana

@Hobbit; Already did a few, maybe will do some more :)

18 Apr 02:12

Hobitt

Eyliana if you are unsure about how to start make small colour miniatures so do a few sketches of your scene and experiment with paints and then when you find what works just use the colours that work

18 Apr 02:06

smrr

--

Yeah, exactly ^_^ you know what's up <:

18 Apr 02:06

smrr

Shit, I wouldn't know how to go about painting in watercolour though -- I'd check out tutes and stuff to feel more comfortable and whatnot. So as to be able to make the confident strokes

18 Apr 02:06

Eyliana

--

Yeah, I'll figure something out :) I just need kind of a plan before I start. Otherwise I mess up :P

18 Apr 02:05

smrr

In the end, art is about having fun. Express yourself - and remember, a bold stroke is worth more than a self-conscious, measly one

18 Apr 02:04

smrr

--

Hahahaha seriously, just have fun with it ---!

18 Apr 02:04

smrr

Whoever said pimping ain't easy is right. This Barry Long guy had to write a library of books about it.

smrr

And never be afraid to start over ;) think about it, we're using a digital program... imagine if we were going in traditional haha - then the fear of starting over is... relative

Hmmmmm, @Eyliana - trying something new?! I say go for it! Chase the fear, it's what will make you grow the most~!
