@darktiste yes and no. Isometric perspective is a sub-category of parallel projection. Isometric specifically refers to a 45* angle parallel projection.

Quick question someone might be able to answers is parallel perspective just a different term use to describe isometric perspective or they are different type of perspective.There seem to be a great variety of terminology in perspective so sorry for asking.
