--V Menezes I'm still learning fundamentals and it's a long way to go. I think it's a good idea to interchange fundamental studies, all other kinds of studies that you feel you need and painting from imagination. Loomis is awesome imho. I don't feel like skipping anything from his books yet (though I do skip)

--I might be wrong, but a fair amount people here seem to be more focused on painting/renedering than "drawing fundamentals" so IDK if you can relate. But do you guys feel kinda obsessed sometimes wondering if you really got the grasp of the fundamentals? I was using a different material before, but my Loomis book just arrive today from Amazon and I'm really divided if it's "safe" to skip some parts

--Keep your uploaded images no larger than 1000-1200px wide, and if you can please upload your images as attachments to the forum. This helps keep page load times down, and the images always up.
